FDA and Chicago Vape Shops

Some Southland business owners vowed to “fight as hard as we can” against a new federal regulation they consider an overreach because they say it not only threatens their businesses, but people’s lives — the opposite of what regulators say it should.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration took “significant steps to protect Americans from dangers of tobacco” by ruling on May 5 that tobacco-free vapor products, including those with and without nicotine, are subject to the same regulations as tobacco cigarettes.
